GERTRUDE Celebrates Twelve Years Of Innovation
February 1st, 2017 marks GERTRUDE’s 12th year of challenging brands to “Disrupt, Invent, & Evolve.” The agency’s signature expertise in global brand innovation and brand development leads with smart, forward thinking, expertly crafted ideas and solutions that elevate brands and open new avenues for growth.
GERTRUDE reflects on twelve years of global creative leadership for some of the biggest, best, and most innovative brands worldwide, across sectors.
GERTRUDE shined throughout 2016 with a number of notable highlights: several new assignments for global spirits giant DIAGEO including branding & design refresh for global brand Ketel One Vodka, and New Product Development research and invention for a cross-portfolio innovation initiative; a host of new projects for the agency’s expanding Experiential + Branded Architecture division RAYE; outdoor innovation for QSR icon Steak ‘N Shake; and launch of several new flagship flavors for Chicago craft brew Around the Bend Beer Co.
GERTRUDE followed up prior successful engagements for DIAGEO brands I.W. HARPER Bourbon and STUDEBAKER Expertly Crafted Whisky Cocktails with the assignment of branding duties for Ketel One Vodka, covering brand world development and design of modular bar systems, barware, experiential activities, and key sports stadium partnerships activations. RAYE continued to expand its premium branded shipping container design expertise with a 40’ mobile “Happy Meal” experience for McDonald’s, plus several other new projects rolling out in the second half of 2017. In need of a breakthrough spectacular idea, Steak ‘N Shake approached GERTRUDE to completely rethink their outdoor advertising. And finally, following GERTRUDE’s successful launch of innovation craft brew Around The Bend Beer Co., the agency’s design division OZ MFG. COMPANY expanded the portfolio’s distinctive steam punk world to several new varieties like ATB Mr. Marmalade Imperial Pale Ale, ATB Villainous IPA, and ATB Vera Pistachio Cream Ale.
February 1st, 2017 is even further celebrated by GERTRUDE as the 1st birthday for the agency’s Experiential + Branded Architecture division RAYE, and 3rd birthday for Design + Digital division, OZ MFG. COMPANY.
