GERTRUDE Turns 10 Red Star



February 1st, 2015 marks a 10-year milestone for global advertising, marketing, and innovation agency GERTRUDE, INC., to be celebrated in the recently completed new global HQ office in Chicago. GERTRUDE embraces a decade of cultivating expertise in the global brand innovation space with continued focus on delivering smart, forward thinking, expertly crafted ideas and solutions for our clients, while reinforcing the agency’s global creative leadership through strategic partnerships such as the Art Directors Club and Luerzer’s ARCHIVE.

As an exciting new chapter begins, GERTRUDE looks back on an exhilarating decade featuring a host of client partners, including AB InBev, CAT Footwear, Binaca, DIAGEO, FOX Sports, HP, L.A. Gear, Mead Johnson Nutrition, Microsoft, Nokia, Singha Beer, SuperPretzel, Tiger Beer, Ubisoft, and Virgin. And while GERTRUDE turns 10, the agency’s Design, Innovation, and Digital division, OZ Manufacturing Company, also celebrates its first successful year. The launch of OZ MFG. COMPANY was a bright spot in 2014 as the division led portfolio strategy, global branding, packaging design, and digital assignments for AB InBev and Mead Johnson.

Additionally, in Fall 2014 GERTRUDE & OZ MFG. COMPANY stepped forward with a move to one of Chicago’s richest creative arts buildings—a 250,000-sq. ft. building located at 2150 S. Canalport Ave. The new HQ is a unique, custom-designed space occupying the loading dock in what once was the world’s largest macaroni factory in the early 1900s. The agency’s striking main entrance, an industrial bright red shipping container, invitingly opens into a “mid-century modern, innovation gallery,”—a space designed to inspire and showcase the agency’s passion for hard work and creative excellence.
