GERTRUDE’s Experiential + Architecture division RAYE created a branded shipping container idea to mobilize McDonald’s experiential activities.

McDonald’s was seeking a way to capitalize and expand on the success of their “V-ARTIST” program at SXSW 2016, which brought consumers “inside a Happy Meal” via an immersive VR experience to play, paint, and explore a world inside the iconic menu item. RAYE delivered with “McDonalds Contains Happiness.”


RAYE’s mobile experiential concept, devised from a fleet of premium branded, activation-ready 20’ and 40’ shipping containers, provided the perfect vehicle to creatively represent the signature bright red Happy Meal and transport the McDonald’s brand experience nationwide.
