When The Hershey Company learned consumers were gravitating toward candy that offered more joyful and surprising experiences, they knew they needed to rethink, retool, and reinvent.

Embracing its sweet tooth, GERTRUDE conceived, designed, and brought to market eight new products for Hershey’s “Project Wonderland” initiative. In pursuit of joy and surprise, we dialed up the fun with new flavor-form combinations that leveraged Hershey’s proprietary ingredient-layering innovation.
