Around the Bend Beer Co. needed an irresistible brand and story to accompany its most unique release yet—a truly inspired ale dubbed “Vera,” a delicate yet luscious pistachio cream ale brewed with Caravienne malt. GERTRUDE’s Design division, OZ MFG. COMPANY, led brand development for ATB Beer Co.’s latest invention with a distinctive story and launch identity for this delicate Pistachio Cream Ale (species P. vera).

OUTCOME
ATB Vera came to life as a Victorian-era visage wearing a beak-like mask that was filled with purifying aromatics—an etched expression of the beer’s distinguished, delicious design. The new brand quickly sold out, thanks to GERTRUDE & OZ’s branding for this culinary-inspired brew.
