MIDNIGHT PIG BEER – NEW PRODUCT AND BRAND DEVELOPMENT
GERTRUDE, along with Design, Branding, + Production division OZ MFG. COMPANY and Experiential + Branded Architecture division RAYE, led new product and brand development for the launch of a craft beer by Nevinâ€™s Brewing Company called Midnight Pig Beer.
The brand takes a cue from Chicagoâ€™s infamous boozy past, inspired by the spirit and innovation of the original prohibition-era trailblazers who, under the cover of darkness, transported their concoctions in unmarked mason jars nicknamed â€śpigs.â€ť
Midnight Pig Beer was brought to life through OZ MFG. COMPANYâ€™s iconic naming, identity, and design system for a portfolio of 11 unique beers, along with a campaign punctuated by the brand tagline â€śNotoriously Authenticâ€ťâ€”a nod to the infamous era of novelty that drives Midnight Pig to bring its characteristic ingenuity to its modern brews. RAYE handled the design of a brand new concept for a series of Prohibition-inspired Midnight Pig Tap Rooms.
