GERTRUDE introduced the trade, influencers, and media to the notoriously authentic taste of Diageo’s Studebaker Cocktails via a custom-designed PR launch experience.
Studebaker Whisky Cocktails arrived aboard the “Whisky 6ix,” a reimagined 1920’s-style club car, inviting guests to sample and experience cocktailing’s infamous history.

We brought the exquisite craftsmanship of the cocktails to life in every detail, from product stocked in hand-made crates to a bar constructed of vintage wood.
“Bartender Created. Masterfully Blended.” came to life in the authentic Old Fashioneds and Manhattans sampled as the perfect solution for crafted cocktailing.

CONTEXT
Diageo needed to launch its new Studebaker premixed cocktails in a breakthrough way that would unmistakably communicate both quality and authenticity.
They turned to GERTRUDE’s Experiential & Architecture division RAYE to create the STUDEBAKER “Whisky 6iX”—a 1920s-style club car perfect for cocktailing. RAYE transformed a retired CTA train car into the “Whisky 6iX” as the centerpiece for the STUDEBAKER Expertly Crafted Whisky Cocktails brand launch. Invited guests stepped aboard to glimpse cocktailing’s notorious history while sampling the delicious design of these “infamous cocktails inspired by an infamous era.”
